Redbay boats must be the trend in Norway with the third boat of its kind being delivered to Svalbard Bookings!
The Svalbard Archipelago is situated mid way between continental Norway and the North Pole and well within the Artic Circle. The capital of the islands and the base for this rather amazing Redbay creation is Longyearbyen which is already home for two of our 12ms owned by ‘Better Moments’.
The boats purpose is to provide day trips during the summer time when the ice sheet has disappeared. Trips to see the northern lights and hop between islands where guests are guaranteed to see Polar Bears with their cubs on the shore and whales jumping on the sea whilst in a warm and safe environment.
The boat is powered by Twin Yanmar 8LV-370 engines pushing the boat upwards of 42knots and offers customers a very exhilarating experience from the comfort of a warm and dry wheelhouse.
The new 12m cabin design features an innovative central bow door which allows passengers to enter from the bow. The extended cabin offer seating for up to 12 passengers and 2 crew with a Standing Toilet Compartment.
