Redbay Boats will have its  largest presence at the Seawork show in Southampton from 25 – 27th of June. The 16mtr will depart from Redbay on Friday 21st crewed by Charles Stewart, Joe Mc Collam and Conor Mc Laughlin.

The boat will make scheduled stops at Rosslare, Newlyn, Falmouth and Portland before arriving in Southampton on Monday. To extend the range we  have added a 1000 litre reserve tank to the on removable mounts to the after deck. . The boat is fitted with AIS and you can follow its progress.

In addition to the 1650 the recently launched 12 metre Coastal Connection RIB from  Oban will arrive by lorry and will be launched on Monday and motored on to the berth, this 12mtr rib which is powered by twin jets is a totally commercial rib and is coded for 12 passengers. Coastal Connection is at the show to promote the commercial side of their business. We will also have on berths two 7.4’s one powered with a 300hp Suzuki and latest demo 7.4 powered by a 250hp Hyundai diesel, this 7.4 features our patrol console fitted with A Frame and T Top all boats will be available for demonstrations. The show opens each day from 10 until 5 and entry is free. So if anyone is in the area it is well worth a visit.


Redbay Round Ireland 2013

Suzuki who have sponsored this year Round Ireland Challenge and have asked us to provide them with a Rib for the event. The boat we have chosen is our new wide beamed 950, the boat has been outfitted with  a new wider version of our very popular  patrol console and seating for 8 people with large storage areas for all the crew kit. Power will come from a 300hp Suzuki and Simrad will provide all the electronics including thir latest broadband radar. A special towing bollard arrangement will be mounted on a stern of the vessel to offer support to any vessels that may get into difficulty

After the event Suzuki will take the boat to the UK where it will be exhibited at  the Southampton International Show from 13 – 22nd Sept. This will be a great opportunity for people to come along, see and try the boat as it will be afloat on one of the dedicated Suzuki pontoons.
