The Stormforce 1250 is the latest design to emerge from the yard, designed as a smaller sister of the 1650. conceived to have most of the features of the 1650, the 1250 has been designed as the basis for a wide variety of application. The first boat was sold for operation as passenger ferry to the Kintyre Express team who already operate 4 Redbay RIBS.

The Stormforce 1250 was first launched in 2016 and is the latest in the Redbay Stormforce range. Team Redbay turned to Joe McCollam, renowned Naval Architect, to come up with a brand new hull form to plug the gap between the Stormforce 11 and 1650. Joe had previously designed the mega Stormforce 1650 and much of the design inspiration came from the experience of that design. The brief was to produce a fast, comfortable and efficient hull that was capable of being propelled within the restraints of the available stern-drive power packages.
The new 1250 measures in at 13.25 metres LOA, has a beam of 4 metres and can weigh up to 12000kgs. It can be a serious go anywhere cruiser, a passenger boat or the ultimate expedition craft and each design is totally bespoke to the clients specification.
