Background
Developed from our popular Stormforce 11m, our new 1150 demonstrates the same sea keeping capabilities present in all our models, including downward facing chimes and a 25° stern dead rise making it very stable in big seas. Our new model showcases the flush mounted Seaglaze windows which gives excellent field of vision and let in floods of natural night. The curved roof and striking angles also give the boat a more modern look.
The 1150 is 150mm wider than our existing Stormforce 11m giving a more spacious feel on both the after deck and inside the cabin. Also by adding the an extra 0.5m on to the length of the RIB means there are more opportunities when creating bespoke interiors.
The cabin has also been raised to make room for a full height door aft which can be either sliding, folding, patio style or standard 1800x600mm
Propulsion
The Stormforce 1150 was designed to be powered with inboard sterndrive propulsions systems which can be accessed through a single engine bay lid. Once opened you will be met with compact engine bay where all systems are easily accessible.
Forward of the engines are where the battery systems and holding tanks are kept. There is an option to make this into a storage space that can be accessed through a recessed hatch in the back deck.
Typical engine package can include Twin Yanmar 8LV –370 inboard diesels coupled to Twin Yanmar 370zt sterndrives. This arrangement can push the boat to 40+knots with a fuel burn of 75l per hour at 28knots. Other engine options include twin water jets or twin outboards.

Main Cabin
The interior is constructed from a full GRP moulding to include suspension seating for 4 people as standard, with two long bench seats aft that can double as berths.
The interior feels spacious with high roof and 360 degree field of vision.
Forward Cabin Area
The layout of the boat has been carefully thought out and features a bow toilet cubical and storage space opposite, dividing the living and sleeping quarters nicely.
