20 Feb Irish Divers test their new 7.4 Dive Boat
Irish Diver
Mid February saw the launch of an alternative version of the very successful Stormforce 7.4 Dive Boat. The boat was commissioned by Mr Greg Dunphy and all the members of Irish Divers. Tom McLaughlin Managing Director of Redbay said "it’s always a pleasure to build a boat for a dive club, especially such an established one, dive clubs tend to use boats intensively and always know what they want from a boat". Redbay boats have always been successful with dive boat commissions, the secret to the success is the company’s ability to adapt and customise to the exact customer needs.
This latest boat has ben rigged with twin 115 Hp Suzuki Four Strokes giving the boat great stabiulity and reliability with the added safety feature of a second engine for redundancy. During sea-trialls in Redbay the boat managed 36 knots on a single engine which demonstrates the torque and pushing power of the Suzuki Four Stroke.
Redbay Boats would like to wish Irish Divers every success with their new boat.
