Better Moments No3

This latest Redbay is destined for Svalbard Archipelago is situated mid way between continental Norway and the North Pole and well within the Artic Circle. The capital of the islands and the base for this rather amazing Redbay creation is Longyearbyen which is the home port of ‘Better Moments’ an existing Redbay customer.

In 2015 & 16 the Better Moments team took delivery of two Stormforce 12m which they use for boat trips during the summer months.  Now they’re back and this time looking for bigger and beefier to tackle the harsh conditions that they can endure.

Today they have taken delivery of their brand new Redbay Stormforce 1250, the first of its kind with shaft driven propulsion. The power plant behind this boat is the new Mercury 6.7l 550hp inboards, coupled to ZF gearboxes and Teignbridge stern gear. Capable of pushing the boat through any weather at a top speed of 34knots.

The commercial arrangement of below decks offers larger space for maintenance and storage with access through to the Fuel Tank Compartment.
