and hatches have been cutout, console fitted. Seat bases are being
made up, and some systems are starting to be installed.

Layup of
hull and cabin is complete. Internal structure has been completed,
fuel tanks have been fitted and floor has been fitted. Both hull
and cabin are now out of the moulds and are being set up for tubing

Update:
26 August 2005
Layup of
both hull and cabin/deck is now well underway.

Until now,
RIBs have only been awarded a P3 license by the Department of Marine,
but the ability to be built to P5 is testament to the Stormforce
11's capabilities and design features. The P5 license will allow
the RIB to carry twelve passengers, as with the P3, but it will
not have the same distance restrictions, and must be built under
survey.
The first
RIB, for a customer in Cork, will be built as the full GRP cabin
with flush after deck, see Earnest (above) and the new Corryvreckan
(below). Build is due to commence shortly, and progress reports
on the RIB will be posted here.
