If you have any articles, cruising notes or other information that you wish to share with other Rib enthusiasts please e-mail us info@redbayboats.com.

2004 has been a very busy so far; already this year we have launched a number of new designs including the first of the new generation of 11 metres for Seatreks of Ballycastle. The new top side mouldings have greatly reduced build times and give a clean and complete GRP finish. The boat is fully MCA coded and approved for 14 persons, it has a compliment of 12 fully supportive seats and is powered by 2 x ME421 Yamaha's.

With the RIB being recognised as the small passenger carrying boat of choice for commercial operator's, Redbay has already this year, delivered 5 coded vessels and has at least another 3 to follow. If you would like to find out more info on commercially coding your vessel please do not hesitate to contact our offices.

In other news, Brian Mclister of Ballycastle, successfully cruised to Norway and back in his RIB 'Bouncer' with crewman James McKay. What is even more remarkable is that he did all of this in 10 days. This was a very well organised expedition with the 2 boys spending in excess of 10 hours at sea most days.

Well Done Brian And James, We Look Forward To Reading The Log!

Tom and his crew aboard 'Corryvreckan' also made it to Orkney during their 'Mid-summer's night trip'. The 4-day trip was hampered by very bad weathered but this did not stop the boys achieving their goal.

During May, Callum and Anne Stewart also cruised from Scotland down to the Isle of Wight and onward to France, stopping in Cherbourg on 'Tam O Beastie', their trusty 7.0 mtr powered by 240 horses. Another Redbay first, well done guys.

2004 is only starting, Let's go and explore!
