Fyne Flyer

The latest Redbay Stormforce 11, Fyne Flyer, was delivered last week to customer Mr Henry Jagielko. The RIB will be based in Portavadie, Scotland. With plans for a new 230 berth marina in the village, the RIB will be used to help achieve important operations for the construction and running of the new marina.

Based on the Stormforce 11 Explorer-X Cabin design, the RIB features a very impressive internal layout. Forward are the standard double berths with storage underneath. In the main cabin area, the RIB has been fitted with 4 Double High back comfort seats for passengers, and two individual Comfort seats for Helm and crew. All seats are fitted with 4-point safety harnesses and are mounted on seating pods with storage underneath. Aft of the cabin, on the starboard side the RIB has been fitted with a spacious full standing headroom toilet with electric flush and hand basin. On the port side of the cabin, a small galley with sink, stove and Isotherm fridge have all been fitted. The interior has been finished off in quality bespoke cherry wood finish.

The RIB has been fitted with twin Yamaha ME422 Diesel Sterndrives, giving a total installed power of 490hp. These engines give the RIB excellent performance and handling, whilst being very economical and reliable. Fyne Flyer has been commercially coded for the carriage of passengers by the Maritime Coastguard Agency.
