Along with launching two new Redbay Stormforce 7.4s, Redbay Boats have also launched a new Stormforce 9.1 on the same day (click here for the 7.4s). The 9.1 has been built for Ocean Divers in Dublin, as a dive boat for carrying up to 12 divers.

The RIB is based on the "Fastfisher" model, with a forward cabin giving good protection for the crew, and also a massive open deck to provide an excellent diving platform. There is additional seating and storage just aft of the cabin, along with a canopy to help provide shelter for all on board.

Power comes from a single Yamaha Sterndrive ME421STI, and on trials was reaching a top speed of 31.5 knots.

Electrics include a Raymarine C80 Chart Plotter, Raymarine DS500x Fishfinder, Raymarine Ray54 DSC VHF Radio, Navman Diesel Fuel Monitor, along with a steering compass, engine instruments, navigation lights, deck lights and wiper!

The RIB is built to be coded and compliant with operation in Eire waters to a P3 license. The boat has been fitted with an extensive amount of safety gear.
