Limerick Lady

Redbay customer Mr Terry Gilmore took delivery of his new Stormforce 11 RIB, Limerick Lady, over the weekend. Limerick Lady is based on the Stormforce 11 Touring model, and offers the special combination of the seakeeping abilities of a Lifeboat with the interior comforts of a Luxury motor yacht.

Propulsion wise, the RIB has been fitted with twin Yamaha ME422HO diesel sterndrives (2 x 275hp). The RIB will reach speeds of over 40 knots when the engines are fully run in.

The specification of the RIB is one of the highest to date, and has been complimented with high quality internal joinery. The layout of the RIB has been customised to Terry's requirements. Forward, there is the standard double berth with in-fill. In the main cabin, the RIB has been fitted with 4 KAB suspension seats, complimented aft with two wrap around benches. A folding and removable table has been fitted between the two benches. At the aft end of the cabin, a full standing headroom toilet and wash basin has been fitted to the port side. On the starboard side is a navigation station, featuring a large chart table and a Plotter repeater unit. Uniquely, the chart table flips open to reveal a twin hob cooker and sink facility. There is also a cupboard under the table for storage of all the usual galley equipment.
