Lecale

Long-standing Redbay customer, Mr Fintan McGrady, has just taken delivery of his new Redbay Stormforce 11 RIB, Lecale. Fintan's RIB is based on our newest 11m Cabin RIB configuration, the Explorer-X version. The Explorer-X has a longer extended cabin length over the original Explorer Cabin, but also retains many of the new moulding features of the Touring Cabin design.

Lecale has been fitted with the exciting Yamaha ME432TRP marine diesel Sterndrive. Powered by two of these engines, the total power on board is 630hp. Each engine delivers its power through Yamaha's HYDRA TRP unit, each one fitted with counter rotating propellers. Power delivery, acceleration and overall performance is very impressive, with top speeds easily over 40 knots.

The layout of the RIB has been designed for comfortable offshore cruising. In the main cabin, four KAB suspension seats have been fitted. Aft, there are two long benches, making the most of the extended cabin length. These are finished off with high-level lockers, and a massive storage compartment under the aft deck.
