INISHKEEN
- Stormforce 6.5

Inishkeen
was launched earlier this year, and is now in active service on
Lough Erne, County Fermanagh. The RIB was built for the Lough Erne
Warden, Waterways Ireland.
The RIB
is signifcant due to being fitted with the Yamaha Diesel Stern Drive
normally only fitted to the larger Stormforce RIBs. The RIB was
required to fit into the Warden's current boat shed, so a maximum
length of 6.5 metres was allowed. This resulted in the RIB having
to be taken from the larger 7.4 mould, to enable the full beam needed
to fit the larger diesel engine and engine bay.

The RIB
has a shortened wrap around console, with twin suspension seats.
The RIB has been built to fully comply with the MCA Code of Practice.
