Inclusion

Inclusion, a Fastfisher 21, has just been completed and delivered to Arran Outdoor Education Resource Centre (Arran Outdoor). The centre is an existing Redbay customer, and Learning Manager Mr Nigel Marshall commisioned Redbay Boats to build this boat for a very special purpose.

Inclusion has been specially designed for carrying passengers in wheelchairs. To facilitate this, several design features have been incorporated into the boat. Firstly, a swing boom has been fitted to allow passengers to be hoisted unto the boat. Once onboard, special tracks have been fitted into the deck. These allow the wheelchairs to be secured safely to the deck of the boat. Even the helm's seat has been fitted to the tracks to allow it to be moved or removed.

The boat has been MCA coded for carrying up to 8 passengers.

Propulsion is provided by twin Suzuki 40hp 4-stroke outboards, and provide the boat with an exceptional turn of speed.
