Fundi

Our most recent launch is Fundi, another Stormforce 11 Cabin RIB. Destined for Bantry Bay, in Country Cork (Republic of Ireland), the RIB will be used for sight seeing activities around the local islands and area.

The RIB is based on our standard 11m Cabin Passenger RIB; it is basically the same layout as Realt Na Maidne launched in June. The RIB is laid out in 3 areas. Forward is a double berth that has also been fitted with a sea toilet for emergency use. The main cabin area contains the helm and navigation controls, and seating for 12+2 passengers. All seats are fitted with head rests and 4 point safety harnesses. Aft is the dedicated engine bay housing two marine diesel engines.

The engines are Yamaha ME422 Diesel Sterndrives, each producing 245hp. These are coupled to Yamaha's single prop Hydra Drive unit for ultimate reliability, performance and smooth operation.

The RIB has been commercially coded by the Department of Marine in Ireland to Category P3 passenger RIB license.
