Erne
Mist - Stormforce 11

Erne Mist
is a Stormforce 11, which is about to be put into operation by the
Northern Ireland Fishery Conservancy Board. The RIB is destined
for Lough Erne, where it will be based near Kesh. From it's base,
the RIB will be able to cover the whole of the Upper and Lower Lough
with ease.
Erne Mist
is based on the standard 11 Cabin design, but the cabin has been
shorted to create a massive working deck aft. The cabin still has
plenty of space inside, and features 4 full KAB suspension seats.
The standard forward double berths has also been retained.

The RIB
has a twin stern drive configuration, powered by our favourite Yamaha
ME421 Yamaha Diesel motors. On trials, the RIB reached speeds over
40 knots with ease. The twin sterndrives, with independant systems,
offer redundancy and also provide great maneovrability.
Erne Mist
has been fitted with a good complement of electronics, and has full
safety equipment on board. Electrics include:
- Raymarine C120
Multifunction Navigation Display
- Icom IC-M601
DSC VHF Radio & IC-M31 Handheld VHF Radio
- Navman FISH4380
Fishfinder
- Electric Windlass
- Wipers
- Interior heating

The RIB will be coded
to MCA Code of Practice for its operations.
