On Friday 8th July 2005, Redbay Boats launched two new identical Stormforce 7.4 RIBs, along with a new 9.1 (click here for the 9.1). The RIBs are four seater open console versions, and have been fitted with two additional features. First is the new Outboard Engine Well, which also features seating and a large amount of dry stowage space within. The engine wells have also been complimented with a stainless steel A-Frame.

Secondly, both have been fitted with raised bow anchors, which help support the front of the tube and also provide a massive amount of storage space at the bow.

Both RIBs have been fitted with identical outboard engines - new Yamaha 200hp HPDI units. Top speed will be well over 40 knots when the engines have been fully run-in.

Both RIBs also have the same electrics including Raymarine 432i Chart Plotters, Garmin Fashfinder 80, Raymarine Ray54 DSC VHF Radio, JVC CD Player with Muli-changer, and the usual deck lights and Navigation lights, compass and engine instruments.
