Redbay Boats Ltd have just achieved registration to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. ISO9001 is the internationally recognised requirements standard for Quality Management Systems. As a result of ISO 9001, we have a comprehensive set processes in place to ensure proper management of our business activities to prevent quality failures.

Our certificate of registration is applicable to:

"The design, manufacture, sales and repair of rigid hull inflatable boats for commercial and pleasure use."

Coinciding with our 30th Anniversary, this is an important milestone for the company. ISO9001 is important as it demonstrates our commitment to our customers and continual improvement of our business. We are now one of very few RIB manufacturers in the UK to have achieved ISO9001 registration.

It is planned that NQA, one of the world's leading assessment, verification and certification bodies, will be presenting our certificate formally at Seawork in June this year.
