Stormforce
8.4 Expedition - Progress Report
The
Prototype is now COMPLETE - Click Here to View

Work with
the all New Stormforce 8.4 Expedition model is well underway. At
time of writing, the first hull and deck have been built successfully.
The prototype is now in the fitout and finishing stage, and will
progress very quickly over the final few weeks.
The new
deck mould has many ergonomic and aesthetic features, including
an integrated console, stern seating arrangements and an anchor
locker. The one piece deck mould will give quicker build times with
a superior, cleaner overall finish, much in line with the current
range of Stormforce 11 metre models. The Hard Nose will give the
RIB the benefits of the similar feature on the SF9.1-11 - a highly
successful and proven design feature. The main benefits include
improved space in the bow, secure anchoring point and protection
for the tubes in rough weather.
As work
progresses in the final stages, we will keep this page updated,
and release photographs of the prototype when completed and on initial
sea trials.
