26 Feb New Sea-Safari RIB
Back in September 2013 Conemara man Joe Casey approached Redbay to build a bespoke Sea-Safrai RIB compliant with the stringent regulations laid down by the Department of Marine for Passenger Boats. The vessel is P3 licensed for 10 persons and will operate from Crana, Co. Galway.
The RIB has the latest Garmin touch-screen chartplotter and is powered by the ulra-reliable Suzukki DF300A lean burn. This outboard carries Suzuki’s latest lean burn technology which reduces fuel burn by up to 35% on constant RPM applications.
Joe commented ‘I am delightwed with Redbay product and their approach to business, nothing is too much trouble and the build quality is second to none’.
On sea-trials with 10 persons on board the RIB achieved 38 knots, it will however be operationally restricted to 25 knots as per the P3 passenger boats regs.
